Koru Care are a children's charitable organisation based in Auckland. They take kids suffering from serious illnesses on trips of a lifetime to America and Australia. They use their online presence to generate donations and to let people know about the programmes they provide for "their" kids.

Challenge

The challenge was to create a site that took very little cost in marketing spend to convert the maximum number of leads into donations, also to make the site as relevant as possible to the search engines, mainly Google, to achieve good rank positions on high quality keywords to get as much free traffic to the site as possible.

We wanted to have this site have the maximum ROI for the Koru Care kids.

Solution

We created a site that was very user friendly, with very clear navigation to the donations page.

We targeted keywords with internal pages and created quality content around those and did the SEO basics correct right from the start to maximise organic rank positions at very little cost. We set-up galleries which are updated regularly with new images of events and trips, the images get tagged to help rank position as well.

Results

The site is continuously receiving a steady flow of donations, and when marketing is undertaken for the site the ROI is always very good.

End users comment on the quality of the site all the time saying how easy it is to use and how they like the look of it, the kids also enjoy seeing their pictures posted up onto it. It has has proved itself to be highly convert-able and will easily continue to do so into the future.
